Mounts, tolerances, and package constraints. CAD-ready interfaces so mechanical teams can proceed without reverse-engineering the optic.

One published study kept a dermatoscope barrel, retention, and case unchanged while the lens prescription changed. Another wrote structural-thermal-optical tasks with reference solutions.

Fixed-fee projects. Scope, deliverables, and price are agreed in writing before work starts.

### Typical problems

- A new lens prescription has to fit an existing barrel, retention, and case.
- A mount couples the optic to thermal or structural effects, and the reference answer has to be reproducible.

### Deliverables

- Native optical files from the agreed tool
- A tolerance budget when the scope includes one
- STEP or IGES for mechanical teams
- A written treatment of optical coupling to thermal or structural effects, when that coupling drives the decision. This is not a standalone FEA or CFD practice.
- A written report of assumptions, methods, results, and recommended next steps, for internal review or a vendor RFQ.

Tools: Zemax OpticStudio, TracePro, and custom programs and scripts.
