Independent design review
A fixed-fee independent review of an existing lens, imaging design, OpticStudio model, or stray light model. The fixed fee is quoted after a paid pre-review call.
The review is a second set of eyes. It starts with a paid 45-minute pre-review call at $500, credited in full toward the fixed fee if the client proceeds. The fixed fee is quoted after that call and agreed in writing before work starts. Each report is written for internal review or a vendor RFQ.
A fixed-fee independent design review
For imaging and OpticStudio models, the deliverable is a named findings report covering tolerancing and sensitivity, manufacturability, performance against spec, and ranked risks and fixes. For stray light and ghosts, the deliverable is a short written report with ranked ghost paths and recommended fixes, plus the native non-sequential or sequential model named in the scoping note.

Imaging and OpticStudio models

Typical problems
- An existing lens or imaging design needs an independent check before it is treated as finished.
- An existing OpticStudio model needs a review of tolerancing, manufacturability, and performance against spec.
